Project Development


Solna prides itself on providing a comprehensive and professional approach to any project and this commences with an initial feasibility study and progresses to a realistic business plan that will give clients an accurate appraisal of their future prospects.

Only when we have ascertained the viability of a project will the process move forward to the design and construction phase. Solna will never undertake a project that we believe would fail to give the client the desired rate of return on investment.

In General most projects consist of 3 phases:

1. Concept
2. Pre-Operational
3. Operational

  Concept:
During the concept phase, Solna will work with the designers and architects to develop the concept and provide floor plans for the activities for which our company will have responsibility. Initial budgets for equipment will be submitted as will personnel costs for the Pre-Op and Operational phases.

  Pre-Operational:
Solna personnel will procure equipment on behalf of the investors, liaise with Architects and Designers and be available for meetings and site visits with the General Contractor of the project.
Solna will supervise installation of equipment in areas they will manage.
Training schools will be organised during this period.
During the Pre-op phase, Solna will work on a fixed fee plus costs of personnel and consultants assigned or contracted to the project including those for the training school.

  Operational:
Solna will supply overall management of the operation, furnish monthly reports for the shareholders and participate in Board and Management meetings.
We guarantee to fill all essential management posts at all times and train local staff for all other positions.

Security of the gaming operations being a major factor we guarantee that all security equipment and procedures will be reviewed continuously.

Fees for know-how and services.

As all projects are unique it is difficult to give any initial costs until the scope of work is defined in detail. But in general during the 3 phases:

  Concept:
During this phase Solna will normally work on a fixed fee, plus costs for personnel and consultants assigned or contracted to the project.

  Pre-Operational:
During the Pre-op phase, Solna will also work on a fixed fee plus costs of personnel and consultants assigned or contracted to the project including those for the training school.

  Operational:
Solna generally works on a % of the gross gaming revenue plus the cost of personnel employed by Solna and assigned to the operation.
